Can be used on many magazines . (08.11.2014)
Drill a .086 -.089 depending on material and tap 4-40 thread . Can be used on almost any magazine that it will fit on and has clearance in the mag well . You need to make sure the screws do not interfere with internal magazine parts .
The Best 1911 Mag Base!(08.12.2014)
I used these base pads to replace the truly awful Ed Brown hard plastic base pads I tried out earlier this year (I reviewed them on their product page in May of 2014). These are a slightly soft, rubbery compound that works perfectly when ejected onto any surface...particularly hard ones. Not a single pad has fractured or broken in six months of range and carry use (unlike the Ed Brown pads - 5 of 6 ultimately broke within three weeks), they assure a very positive magazine seating, protect my expensive magazines and are reasonably priced for the quality.
As described(06.06.2011)
Thin base was as described. Should be GTG
For my SA loaded(28.03.2018)
They work fine for my factory ss mags. Got the thick ones. They come w/ self tap screws but in a hurry I snapped one. A drop of die cut oil will solve this.
