Kimber 1911 22LR 14 round mag(25.11.2011)
Magazine does not properly fit in a 1911. When the mag is fully inserted, the feed lips/rear of the magazine prevents the slide from closing. When the magazine is lowered to allow a round to strip off, the mag catch is not engaged and the magazine simply is held by tension due to the close tolerance between the mag well and the mag itself.
Great in Ceiner Conversion(25.11.2012)
These little mags are great. I use them in my Ciener conversion mated ontop of my Para Ord frame. Much cheaper than Ciener. They will not drop free on my frame.
great mag(07.05.2014)
I use this mag with a ciener conversion, works flawless! I expected some modifications, none were needed. Great choice on my part, thanks.
Only works about 90% of the time (17.01.2015)
Tried three of these and they are not reliable enough for competition. This mag will not lock the slide on last round. The Polymer is a bit soft and wears quickly, which would be ok if the darn thing would feed every time. Works well enough for plinking cans but for competition the new Brownell mag is the only way to go, My advise is to spend the extra 3 bucks on the Brownell 22 mag and shoot trouble free.
Ordered 3, one is defective, two work.(24.12.2015)
These are full size ten round, .22 rimfire magazines. I purchased them to replace the OEM Kimber magazines for my Kimber 1911 .22 rimfire. The Kimber magazine spring failed fairly quickly so I thought I would try a different brand.
Two of these magazines have functioned properly after firing about ten magazines full of ammunition through each of them.
The third magazine arrived in defective condition. It will only hold 8 rounds and does not function properly when loaded with 8 rounds. It would appear that there is something inside the magazine blocking the follower from sliding down far enough to seat more than 8 rounds and I have been unable to resolve the problem.
The magazines deserve a long term test before I provide final judgment but given a 1/3 defect rate I have a hard time rating the product higher than a 3 despite the fact that two of the magazines are functioning properly at this time. Without a defect I'd probably rate a "4" . As long as they function properly one might argue for a "5" based on value (they are cheap).
Works(04.11.2011)
I bought two. Both feed perfectly in my Colt/Marvel conversion (as do Kimber magazines) with CCI Mini-Mag HP. BTW, if your conversion unit doesn't function correctly, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
Good addition for a RIA 1911A1 XT22(12.12.2012)
Used this magazine in a Rock Island Armory 1911A1 XT22. Good as original, good price, fit and function good.
Works great(25.12.2012)
I bought 1 of these and the 14 rd for my Ceiner conversion and they both worked flawless on my R1. I got both mags for little more than the cost of 1 Ceiner mag.
Works in my Rock Island(05.09.2013)
I have only run one mag each of the 10 round and the 14 round version in my new (less than 300 rounds fired) Rock Island 1911 XT22. The 14 round worked flawlessly. The 10 round had two fail-to-feed and one fail-to-fire, but both were most likely from ammo issues rather than from the mag. I am ordering two more of the 14 round.
