The Brownells Enhanced Front Sight Tool for Glock® is just what the doctor ordered to make a somewhat annoying, fiddly job easy, fast - and free from frustration. Sure, there are plenty of Glock® front sight tools out there, but the problem with most of them is the part you grasp is small, making it hard to get enough leverage to loosen a tight screw. And they’re a real pain to use if you have bit mitts. With the Brownells Enhanced Front Sight Tool for Glock®, we’ve solved all of that. It gives you a large, easy-to-grasp handle so you can put a bit more “oomph” into tightening or loosening the screw. Deep flutes on the shockproof handle provide a strong, positive, COMFORTABLE gripping surface. Heavy-duty, 2-3/4" long polymer handle Hardened steel shaft Pick up several for bench, tool kit, range bag Correct hex socket size to prevent damage/stripping of screw Of course, our Enhanced Front Sight Tool for Glock fits the hex screw on both factory and aftermarket front sights - even on long slide Glocks.

junk(19.03.2018)
Opened it up today. It felt like it was the wrong size. the only thing this tool was good for would be to round out the corners of the front site screw so when you bought a real tool it wouldn't work either. Also the shaft was placed into the plastic handle crooked. I would send it back but its not worth my time to go o the post office. This isn't the only piece of junk I have received from here.
Waste of money(27.03.2018)
Ordered five of these for our range unit. One lasted for three front sight changes and another failed after one. Don't expect the other three to be any better. Poor quality and workmanship. Shame on you Brownells.
Too easy!(30.03.2018)
Step one, heat up front sight screw with a lighter or match for 3-5 seconds.
Step two, once the original loctite is loosened up, this enhanced front sight tool makes short work of front sight screws.
Step three, place new front sight into recessed slot, start screw in a few threads, apply a tiny dot of blue loctite to visible threads, and then finish screwing it the rest of the way in. Hand tight will do it. Do not gorilla fist tighten the screw.
I don't know why people are having such a hard time with this tool.
like 1/3" too short(03.04.2018)
How do you design a "optimized" Glock sight tool that is too short to use on the most popular Glock models? I took a dremel to it to get the sight tightened down enough as the neck was too short on the tool. such a simple thing that shouldn't be messed up.
Not an "enhanced" sight tool(19.04.2018)
The shaft is too short to use the tool in a perpendicular line to the sight screw. the insertion point of the shaft to the handle is too fat and hits the slide right at the spring guide rod insertion point. I had to dremel down the circumference at the shaft insertion point of the handle to get it to work somewhat properly. Good thing I found my original Glock front sight tool, but now I'm stuck with two worthless "enhanced" sight tools. I don't expect this from Brownells tools. Too bad.
Length of shaft is too short. Useless.(20.04.2018)
I should have listened to the previous reviewers. The shaft is too short so the handle interferes with the muzzle end of the slide, preventing the tool from meeting the screw perpendicularly. It is clear no one from the company actually tried to use this tool before releasing it for sale. I have usually had good luck with Brownellsâ tools, but this one is worthless to me.
Junk(25.04.2018)
They need to go back and remake this tool. The concepts great with the screwdriver handle, but cant get proper grip on sight screw without stripping the tool. Didn't even get through one job with it.
Great idea, poor execution(04.06.2018)
I had high expectations for this tool and it did nothing but disappoint. The tip is too shallow to get a good purchase on the Glock front sight screw. (especially those that have had some Loctite applied) This thing tends to either round screw heads or strip itself out. It's the perfect fit for those long slide Glocks, like the 34/35 where you need to go through the hole in the slide (most screw driver versions won't fit without modification). The addition of a magnet would also be appreciated to help hold the front sight screw.
It worked for me!(22.07.2018)
I've done a few Glock front sight installs, so far. No issues. I had to loosen one front sight after the blue locktite had already set, and had no problem resetting and re-tightening the front sight.
weak!(08.08.2018)
The handle is a good idea the material of the tool is weak if it was hard steal it would make this tool the best on the market... Even after a little heat from a heat gun after using the tool a few times it loose's it's value and starts to deform... Weak material not worth the money.... Sorry Brownells your tools are good but not this one... Pull it off the shelf...
Great!!(17.08.2018)
This product is much better than the Glock version. You can get a good handle on it and enough leverage to get a tight futon that front sight. I highly recommend this above any other front sight tool.
