Industrial Grade, Flannel, Glove Cotton For Really Tough Cleaning Jobs

Extra tough patch that is fleeced on one side, natural on the other to get into the cracks and crevices where dirt hides. The heavy woven twill side scrubs well, while the fleece side is super absorbent. Made from 10 oz. per yard, 104 thread count per square inch, flannel glove cotton for durability. Strips are 7/8' x 6' for custom cuts to fit specific cleaning needs and are ideal for loop-style tips. Packaged in bags of 100 or 1000 in a variety of calibers. Great patches (09.11.2014)

These are awesome patches and work wonderfully. Note, however, they are thick, and are difficult to use with some cleaning jags, and impossible to use with the o-ring jags.

Awesome-sauce ! I use these on my rim fire rifles. You get what you pay for. I will order more, another day.

Did not fit in 3 45 ACP Barrels (14.06.2017)

These patches are very thick, as a result they would not fit using a properly sized jag in a spec 45 ACP barrel. Listing shows .45 - .50. I double check the SKU, and I received the correct patches. If you have a .50 barrel these may work, but I would try some first. The good thing is Brownells stands behind their product. I wish the MIL-SPEC 45 ACP patches were still being sold. Those were perfect.

I use these on my Classic S&W collector revolvers and my Uberti cowboy revolvers. I want to try out the 1 1/4" round pads too. Great quality and value !

Work well but are oversized. (17.01.2011)

These are supposed to be for a .22-.25 caliber bore, but I cannot get them to go down the barrel in my .223 unless I use a .17 cal jag. This is not an optimum solution for most people since you can't just get a .17 jag because it uses a smaller thread and you need a special cleaning rod. I just happen to have the equipment for a .17 so it worked out for me.

Bottom line: These are much thicker than a normal patch and you will need a significantly undersized jag to get these to go down the barrel.

too thick , not practical 22/223 (18.01.2018)

I used a Dewey 17cal. coated rod and I still got stuck 2 inches in a 223 barrel. I used my Pro-shot rod to knock it back out. Scared me to pieces. I aint gonna try that again. I have one arm and I am a cleaning supply junky fool. I do not like this product. Too thick for this small caliber , not practical. Too much stress on your rods too.
