Brownells Shotgun Sight Kit “B” is the most important improvement in the replacement shotgun sight field since the introduc-tion of the original Brownells Shotgun Sight Kit nearly 20 years ago. The new Kit is truly the natural and logical companion to the original Kit “A” - giving you, the gunsmithing or sports shop, all the sights that Kit “A” doesn’t contain, but that you need to have a really versatile and complete replacement shotgun sight inventory in just 2 small boxes. Plus, in Kit “B”, we took the practical step of making the White beads out of stainless steel. Stainless is stronger, won’t crush or distort when the beads are installed, does not have to be removed when the gun goes into the hot bluing solution (and won’t dissolve and ruin your bluing bath once it’s in there)!! Replacement is then just a simple matter of drilling out the hole to the next size larger, tapping, and inserting the new bead. The most important thing is that the Kit saves you time, giving faster work turnaround in the shop, which makes you more money. It also eliminates “patching-up” the original hole (which often then requires repairing the blue, too) and redrilling and tapping for the original size shank. Like the original Kit “A”, the workmanship is superb, the sight globes are true spheres, the threads are cut onto the shank, so they are clean, sharp, and give the best possible fit. Das Brownells Shotgun Sight Kit “B” ist die wichtigste Verbesserung im Bereich der Ersatzvisiere für Flinten seit der Einführung des ursprünglichen Brownells Shotgun Sight Kits vor fast 20 Jahren. Das neue Kit ist wirklich der natürliche und logische Begleiter zum ursprünglichen Kit “A” - es bietet dir, dem Büchsenmacher oder Sportschützen, all die Visierungen, die im Kit “A” nicht enthalten sind, aber die du benötigst, um ein wirklich vielseitiges und komplettes Ersatzvisier-Inventar für Flinten in nur 2 kleinen Boxen zu haben. Außerdem haben wir im Kit “B” den praktischen Schritt unternommen, die weißen Perlen aus Edelstahl herzustellen. Edelstahl ist stärker, verformt sich nicht, wenn die Perlen installiert werden, muss nicht entfernt werden, wenn die Waffe in die heiße Brünierungslösung kommt (und löst sich nicht auf und ruiniert dein Brünierungsbad, sobald es dort ist)!! Zudem bricht der Edelstahl nicht oben am Schaft ab, bleibt für immer glänzend, hält härteren Einsatz im Feld stand und ist im Allgemeinen ein deutlich besseres Visier. Aber der wahre Vorteil des Kits “B” ist, dass du es in Kombination mit Kit “A” verwenden kannst, um eine Auswahl an Schaftgrößen zu erhalten, die unter Flintenvisieren unübertroffen ist. Wenn du also eine Waffe in deiner Werkstatt hast, bei der das Visiersloch stark verformt, abgenutzt oder ausgebohrt ist, hast du eine Perle genau in der gleichen Größe, aber mit einem Schaft, der eine Größe größer ist. Der Austausch ist dann nur eine einfache Angelegenheit: Das Loch auf die nächste Größe aufbohren, Gewinde schneiden und die neue Perle einsetzen. Das Wichtigste ist, dass das Kit dir Zeit spart, was eine schnellere Bearbeitung in der Werkstatt ermöglicht, was dir mehr Geld einbringt. Es beseitigt auch das „Flicken“ des ursprünglichen Lochs (was oft auch eine Reparatur der Brünierung erfordert) und das erneute Bohren und Gewindeschneiden für den ursprünglichen Schaft. Und es bringt deinen Kunden schneller zurück ins Feld, was ihn glücklich macht und dich gut aussehen lässt! Wie das ursprüngliche Kit “A” ist die Verarbeitung hervorragend, die Sichtkugeln sind echte Kugeln, die Gewinde sind sauber und scharf geschnitten, und bieten die bestmögliche Passform. Sie sind bis zur Basis der Perle gewinde-geschneidert, sodass du das Visier genau auf dem Lauf positionieren kannst. Die Gewindegrößen sind 6-48 und 8-40; sicherlich zwei der häufigsten und beliebtesten Gewindegrößen in der Waffenindustrie, sodass jeder die notwendigen Bohrer und Gewinde hat. Die Perlengrößen sind .067, .130 und .175, wiederum die beliebtesten Größen und die gleichen wie die im Kit “A”. Die Goldperlen sind aus bestem Messing gefertigt; die weißen Perlen aus robustem Edelstahl. Da es sich um massive Metallperlen handelt, können sie nicht ausbluten, abplatzen, abblättern oder ihre Farbe verlieren.
