The Sinclair primer pocket uniformers are precision ground from one solid piece of tungsten carbide, so there is no need to worry about changing the depth of cut. These cutters are designed to be used every time you reload. They cut the depth of primer pockets to the correct SAAMI specification and also clean the carbon out of the primer pocket after each firing. Available in 4 sizes: Large Rifle, Small Rifle/Pistol, Large Pistol, and a PPC/BR uniformer.

Precision!!(09.03.2011)
Excellent product!
A Superior Product from Sinclair(26.03.2011)
This is a must have tool for the serious reloader.
The primer pocket uniformer gives you a reliable and repeatable primer seating depth.
But the best thing is the enhanced feel when seating primers. There is no question when the anvil's feet hit squarely on the bottom of the primer pocket.
The uniformer works best for me when I use it in a drill.
I use the LR, SR/SP, LP uniformers and they all work perfectly.
beats all the rest(23.04.2011)
Chuck in a drill and this tool will do the rest. I have two other brands and was either resetting the depth or worrying I would have to. When Sinclair says preset they mean it with a one piece tool. I also would like to comment I received this tool and two others from Sinclair in Iowa to Arizona in just two days. Look out "LARRY".
Almost the perfect tool(12.05.2011)
This is the fastest tool for cutting the bottom of the primer pocket I have ever used. I just chuck it up in my mini lathe and go to town. In a matter of minutes, I am able to process over 100 cases. They all come out flat, square and consistent in depth due to the shoulder to stop the cut. Just push it on, let it cut and you're done. I suggest getting the tool under power. Twisting it by hand is tedious. Either way, get one. It is one of the best purchases you can make.
Primer Pocket Uniformers(09.01.2012)
I'm currently using the Sinclair large pistol primer pocket uniformer and I consider this too so essential that I ordered additional uniformers in large rifle and small rifle/pistol, even though I'm no longer a target shooter. Uniforming the pockets insures smoother primer seating and virtually eliminates high primers which can result in firearms not going into battery, the main cause of light hits and FTFs.
Makes primer pockets great again.(20.02.2017)
Really, it makes a primer pocket great. Most factory brass isn't all too level in the primer pocket and your seating depths will vary without changing the primer pocket itself. Using this tool on vintage rifle cases like 303 British, to modern 6.5 Creedmoor I can achieve a flat, uniform surface in the primer pocket that allows consistent seating depths for primers. An added bonus is that the cutter fits fine in the chucks of a cordless drill, or the handy Sinclair hand-tool specifically made for Sinclair primer pocket uniformers. The cutting depth I've found it to make is 0.130" measured on some 6.5 Creedmoor brass. Pretty consistent to within a thousandth.
I have the original primer pocket cleaners(adjustable depth?) and used them on thousands of cases, commerical and military, and found them superior to primerpocket brushes for uniform depth and cleaning of the primer pockets, though that's not what they're for.
Works great!(08.10.2010)
I mounted the uniformer in a cordless drill and used to clean out the primer pockets. Mounting it in the "screwdriver" handle and doing by hand would be too slow. I went through 1000 LC 223 brass fairly quickly. The best thing is that all the primer pockets are then the correct depth and the primers are all seated perfectly. It was surprising how shallow some of the factory primer pockets were. A good product.
This is the best in the industry!(16.02.2011)
This is the best primer pocket uniformer in the industry! I have been using this for both small pistol/rifle primer pockets for 4 years and countless rounds. It has never dulled. It still cuts like the first day I used it. I have recommended this product to every reloader I know and have given it as a gift. Keep up the great work Sinclair! Thank you!

small but terrible(27.03.2011)
it stayed sharp after prolonged use.
Top Notch Product(19.05.2011)
Chucked it up in a standard 3/8" drill/driver (without using the adapter) and uniformed hundreds of new (Lapua) and used (mixed) brass in no time at all. No signs of wear on the uniformer.
Would not cut(04.09.2014)
The cutting edge on my 2 previous small uniformers chipped after hard use with a drill. The 2 I ordered to replace them arrived with the cutting edge flat and would not cut.
Small Primer Pocket Uniformer Only(09.11.2017)
Brewer Bill says, "I was doing the hated primer pocket uniforming with a new tool. I just received the Sinclair Primer Pocket Uniformer, and WOW, this thing is great!
I've used the Hornady and Lyman ones, and compared to the Sinclair model, those are primer pocket uniformers in name only. The Sinclair is a bit on the pricy side, 30 bucks, but it is a superior performer. When finished, the primer pockets look milled-out.
The process I settled on with all brands of primer pocket uniformers is to use them in a cordless drill. I tried using my drill press, but it's too torquey, if that's even a word. Also, using the cordless drill, I have a better view and feel for what the brass is doing. The Sinclair version is milled from a single piece of tungsten carbide and isn't adjustable, depth wise.
When I tried the Sinclair (Brownell's) uniformer, I couldn't believe the quality of the "cut" and the amount of shavings from the primer pocket...very impressive. When I noted the ease and quality of the cut, I decided to re-uniform some brass that I had previously processed using the Hornady and Lyman tools. Holy schnikes! The Sinclair tool ran circles around the other two. Money well spent.
I'm not a competitive or benchrest shooter, I only uniform the primer pockets because I've found the uniformed primer pockets cycle through my Dillon 550 progressive press more consistently."
