I use and reccomend these springs!(04.09.2009)
After polishing two S&W 36's, I handed them back to the customers. They liked the results, but after I installed the lighter hammer and rebound springs they were impressed, and promised me more work. This is not the first time I've used these kits, sure won't be the last. They work, and they're dependable.
Great addition(26.07.2010)
after pulling my stock parts polishing surfaces that needed it and throwing this spring kit in, trigger greatly improved. All hammerless pistols like the S&W 642 have some tuff triggers but this helps it out polishing out the engagement angle helps alot to but have to be extremely carefull and if your not sure take it so a qualified pistol smith.
Nice(29.11.2010)
I added the 14 lb rebound spring included in this kit to my S&W 637 to lighten up the trigger. It installed easily, and when combined with some light stoning, dropped/smoothed my trigger pull enough to make the gun much easier to shoot well with. The 14 lb rebound slide spring did not cause any problems with the proper resetting of the clockwork. Strangely, the lighter 13 lb spring is actually longer and much more difficult to install than the 14 and 15 lb springs. Since this is a defensive weapon, I did not use the included reduced-weight 8 lb hammer spring, so I cannot vouch for those results. For competition trigger jobs, the reduced-weight hammer spring should work just fine. FYI, these are actually Wolff springs branded for Brownells. Wolff is a reputable maker, and I expect them to last as long as any stock spring.
works ok(26.06.2011)
Wanted to use the 13 lb rebound spring but it was way too long to even try to install by any means or tools. i dont understand what that is about at all..there needs to be some explaination about it. however i used the 14 pounder and the 8 lb. hammer spring and the 642 i put these in is far better now.
Great results!!(04.11.2011)
It took only a few minutes to install these springs. They fit perfectly and made a huge difference! I did not need the special tool others recommend, they installed fairly easily with only a small screwdriver and paperclip!
In S&W 632 327 Magnum(06.02.2012)
In an attempt to lighten the trigger pull on my S&W 632 my gunsmith cut coils from the factory springs. As a result I was getting light strikes making the revolver unreliable. I ordered this spring set and my gunsmith installed them using the 13 lb. trigger spring and now my 632 has a great trigger and is 100% reliable. These are Wolff spring and I highly recommend them.
